Arnold Tijerina, a former Internet Director for two southern California automotive groups, joins DealerKnows Consulting as their Social Media Strategist. He had recently been the Social Media Strategist & Policy Manager for 3 Birds Marketing before coming aboard the DK team. Arnold has also served as a Social Media Consultant for three of the major automotive conferences in the industry. As an integral part of the automotive social landscape, Arnold has advanced knowledge of DealerKnows’ core philosophies and training regimen.

Arnold began his career in retail on the line. His passion for technology & tech savvy quickly led him to become an Internet Manager where he was consistently selling 40 vehicles per month by himself. Having served as the Internet Director for two large auto groups in Southern California, Arnold Tijerina was responsible for tasks such as overseeing six-figure digital marketing budgets, vendor relations, BDC creations, and managing upwards of fourteen Internet Sales Managers. His duties in retail required analyzing, implementing and training new processes which eventually led one of his dealership groups to be named among the top e-Dealers in the country by AutoSuccess magazine.
Upon leaving the retail world to join the vendor side, Arnold worked with many iconic industry institutions including Dealer magazine and the Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition as well as DrivingSales & the DrivingSales Executive Summit. Mr. Tijerina also achieved success with HomeNet Automotive before joining 3 Birds Marketing and relocating from Southern California to Chapel Hill, NC where he now resides with his wife and 7-year old daughter.
