Don’t let your pre-roll video be basic
DealerKnows is well known for creating dynamic, educational style videos completely wrapped in comedy. You’ve likely seen many of our own funny car sales videos. Every so often, our clients bring us in to create memorable video and pre-roll video campaigns to delight and inform their audience. Just because it is a form of marketing, doesn’t mean it needs to be formulaic.
Over the last few years, DealerKnows, along with David Hudson, have worked with Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville and their awesome ad agency partner Chandley Inc to produce engaging videos to intrigue and entertain on pre-roll channels and lure them back for the “full story” at the dealership website. We’ve released a study of our successful campaigns (views, clicks to the website, conversions, time on site, etc) at past conferences. We feel this is the perfect formula to use pre-roll video to both brand the store, stay in the consumer conscious, and drive valuable, high-converting web traffic.
This works with something as simple as utilizing the pre-roll video as a movie trailer (with a similar, unifying theme/story) and embedding the full video on the dealer website. See below some examples of the stories we’ve crafted for our client Arlington Toyota. If you’re interested in a similar video marketing campaign, don’t hesitate to connect with us.
