Making a difference.
If you’ve met a journalist, you know it’s a mission to use the power of words to make a difference in people’s lives. After obtaining her degree from Oakland University, Kristen set her sights high, finding her way into the federal government, ultimately working for the Pentagon. Kristen was able to take critically complicated matters and make them more understandable to miltary personnel. We certainly appreciate her service, and the difference she made for our men and women in the armed forces.
A different kind of automotive.
When the time came to settle down with a family, Kristen was called back to the scenery of Michigan. Building on her strengths of making the complex simple, she took her talents to Detroit, taking the role of Global Media Relations Director for Delphi Automotive’s Electrical/Electronic Architecture Division. Her experience working with one of the world’s largest Tier I suppliers gives Kristen a different dimension of insight as she evaluates those working at the retail level.
Finding a balance.
Traveling around the world to simplify the technical jargon to make it comprehensible to the consumer kept Kristen a little too busy. Now she gets to flex those world-class writing muscles from the comfort of her home, or her tree stand, translating the best practices of DealerKnows Consulting into bite-sized nuggets. Happily married with two boys, Kristen is able to spend her time hiking trails rather than through airports, grading leads from the great outdoors, and still making a difference.
